What is a Salad Spinner?
Salad spinner is a plastic bowl. It works as a centrifuge system. Once the plastic strainer starts spinning, the motion removes excesses water from the salad. This removes the water and you are left with dry salad is in the basket.
Why use a salad spinner?
When you store the salad it has to be wet. Salad can also be wet because you hve washed it. But when you want to use/eat the salad, it has to be as dry as possible, especially if you intend to add oil or some salad dressing to the salad. You can also improve the flavor by having a clean and washed salad.

pull cord spinner: These are a bit more expensive. You operate them by pulling a cord;
